Hello Ladies and Gentlemen I'm Carnage, I'm the #1 Ranked killer in City 63, a top 10 power player and leader of the ranked 3rd guild in power and 1st in kills (TO1) The Order. This guide will focus around making you better at the game in general as well as focus of troop comps if you have any questions PM me here or in game. First and foremost if you haven't read the "God Father quotes" yet then I highly recommend you do so you'll get free rewards after finishing each quote and it will help you suck less at the game.
Power, and Solid VS Liquid: Ok so obviously one of the most important factors of this game is your power, you want to constantly be growing your power as steadily as possible but there are two different types of power, Your solid power which is Power you cannot lose, which comes from gear, buildings, levels and investments, and you have liquid power which is the power you can lose and consists of traps and troops. Solid power is significantly more important than your liquid power and any speed ups, and gold you earn, whether purchased or earned for free should be focused at increasing solid power.
TALENTS: Talents are an important aspect to this game and will greatly determine how fast you grow or how well you do in battle. You have 3 talent tree The left red tree is your battle tree, the center blue tree is your growth tree and the right Green tree is your support tree I have 5 predetermined talent sets I've drawn up and I swap talents depending on what I'm currently trying to do. My first talent set and my most used talent set is my growth set, this set is aimed at growing quickly as well as gathering resources, I put 5 points into the first battle talent to increase my credit gathering load to make sure that all 5 of my marches can fully clear a tile, then I put as many points as I need down the growth tree to get the two active skills, I focus on building and investment speed as well as cargo and arms production, I then go to the support tree focusing on troop building, hospital capacity and moving faster until I get both skills from this tree (the 500 traps every 4 hour skill is extremely over powered in my opinion) after I get that skill I put the rest of my points into the growth tree again. My next skill set is troop production, I know I'm about to go ruin someone's life so I decide I need to rush some troops, I put all my points in my support tree focusing on troop production, next skill set is trap product if I'm preparing to be assaulted rush out a bunch of traps and let them hit me and lose all their troops, I again put all points in the right tree focusing on trap production. Combat, offense I'm about to attack someone I put all my talents in the battle tree focusing on dividing them as evenly as possible and unlocking that wonderful rescue skill. Combat defense similar to combat offense but I don't put any points into vehicles as vehicles excel in offense and I put a little extra focus on Bulkers and shooters, I also don't worry about the rescue skill seeing as it's an offense skill.
TROOPS: troop type, sub types and composition.
In this game you have 4 troop types Bulkers, shooters, bikers and trucks, each troop type has 2 subtypes and each sub type excels in certain aspects:
Bulkers: Bulkers and Scorpions
Shooters: Machine Guns and Snipers
Bikers: Bikers and squids
Trucks: Artillery and armed
You can find the sub type in the upper right hand corner of the picture. Now that you know sub types I'm going to talk about compositions when I mention #s those are the # of batches you should try to produce as a single cycle, multiple by how ever many cycles you want to do.
Composition 1: Balance comp, this comp is a great comp is a great well rounded comp that will allow you to farm, attack, and defend this is the comp that I usually try to build.10 bulkers, 2 Scorpions 1 of everything else. the basics of this comp is to allow you freedom to attack, defend or farm, the reason why I say produce so many Bulkers is because they are your front line unit, when attacking they're going to die the most, you want about 30% of your composition to include Bulkers to keep your other units safe and allow them to do damage, if you attack multiple times and your units start to deplete you should have plenty of back up Bulkers to continue your assault.
Composition 2: Offense comp: this comp is the ideal comp for attacking to maximize kills and minimize loss. Bulkers 15, Scorpions 3, Machine gun 3, sniper 1, Biker 2, Squids 0, Artillery 2, Armed 2. This composition is built around the idea that you're about to go stack some bodies and want to kill as much as possible while losing as little as possible, it will also offer good defense in case of counter attacks.
Composition 3: Defense comp. Bulkers 12, Scoprions 2, Machine gun 2, sniper 3, Biker 2, Squids and trucks 0. This comp is the best composition for purely defending your turf, anyone who attacks you while in this composition, even if they manage to beat you will experience heavy losses, especially if not using the rescue skill. There are several compositions that I also have devised but these are my basic 3, keep in mind certain troops will do bonus damage to other troops so while attacking be sure to spy and build your offense composition to counter their composition, balance comp or the generic offense comp is usually best especially in newer server because very few know how to build composition properly.
Protecting yourself, your troops and resources: This final chapter of "Carnage Classes" will help you protect yourself. So all in all this is a war game the easiest way to defend yourself is have plenty of "Truces" if you're not ready for battle, use truce whenever getting off line , if you don't have Truce available there are still plenty of ways to protect your RSs and troops l'll talk about RSs first because it's the simplest, do your best to not let your RSs exceed your vault, when they do either spend them or send them to the clan Now troops, there are numerous ways to defend troops without a truce, 1. Reinforce a player with truce on, 2. Send your troops to a police station for 8 hours. 3. Long March your troops to a RSs tile across the map they are untouchable while they spend a few hours marching each way, of course if someone tile hits you then You're a little SOL so this method should be used as a last resort,
Thank you all for your time and I hope you enjoyed today's session of "Carnage Classes"
